[vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]“10/25 Gig Posters” presents the work and talent of Mercadorama (Mexico) and Ames Bros (United States). In this graphic retrospective, more than 450 silkscreen prints are brought together to explore the intersection of rock and art through a very particular genre in the world of posters: the gig poster. The exhibition is a celebration of the great work of Mercadorama, which has been immersed for 10 years in the art of producing posters that have become objects of desire. In addition, this exhibition commemorates the 25th anniversary of Ames Bros, an American design company pioneer in the creation of silk screen concert posters. The exhibition shows the work of dozens of graphic artists who over the years have created pieces around some of the most influential bands in the world, and brings us closer to a wide variety of styles and graphic resources. Once again, demonstrating that objects can tell incredible stories, and, through the work of Ames Bros. and Mercadorama, it is confirmed that art and music have no borders. "As music is the vehicle to express the power of words and emotions, so is the poster a vehicle for images."[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][gsf_gallery layout_style="thumbnail" image_size="full" image_ratio="custom" columns="6" columns_md="4" columns_sm="3" columns_xs="3" columns_mb="3" el_class="galeria-expos" images="21947,21949,21951,21953,21955,21957,21959"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
