[vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]In this exhibition, MODO creates a tour and a historical and vivencial review of two of the most emblematic neighborhoods of Mexico City. Throughout the museum, the visitor can be a witness and an accomplice to the beginnings of both areas and will be able to observe a selection of photographs portraying the architecture, the urban landscape and the most beautiful and representative buildings. Likewise, the visitors can share nostalgia with objects, illustrations and press publications of the time, as well as testimonies of the historical development of the Roma and Condesa zones. The exhibition is a journey starting at the foundation of the colonies, to today: advertisements of its development and leaflets of land sales, photographs of long gone buildings, emblematic houses and constructions, as well as documents that play witness to the various architectural styles, the 1985 earthquake and its effects on the Roma district, as well as a selection of movies filmed in both neighborhoods. On a video tour of these emblematic spaces and through testimonies of their current inhabitants, the exhibition also reflects on the neighborhoods in present days. The exhibition was presented from February 20 to July 28, 2013.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][gsf_gallery layout_style="thumbnail" image_size="full" image_ratio="custom" columns="6" columns_md="4" columns_sm="3" columns_xs="3" columns_mb="3" el_class="galeria-expos" images="31867,31865,31863,31861,31859,31857,31855,31853,31851,31849"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
