THE COLLECTION
\n<\/strong>From A to Z<\/strong><\/h2>\n

El MODO turns 15 and celebrates with an exhibition that explores its collection in a way as methodical as it is evocative: in alphabetical order.<\/p>\n

For this purpose, we drew inspiration from a tool that has served, since the earliest civilizations, as a true guardian of memory and a beacon of meaning\u2014and that, much like the museum itself, preserves and organizes invaluable fragments of knowledge and evocation: the dictionary.<\/p>\n

Letter by letter, we searched through the drawers that safeguard the thousands of objects gathered by Bruno Newman over nearly six decades, selecting them and giving them a new context. In this way, the alphabetical order becomes both a game and a guide to rediscover the material, historical, and emotional value of each piece, seeking to look beyond their forms and read between the lines all that they are capable of telling us.<\/p>\n

This exhibition is an invitation to explore El MODO from A to Z, to pause at each word-object, and to celebrate not only fifteen years of the museum\u2019s history, but also the life contained in objects and the stories they share with us all.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s only one thing left to say, with just the right words: here\u2019s to many more letters, and long live El MODO.<\/p>\n
